Caramelized Mushroom Liqueur🚩

Instructions
Slice 300g mushrooms. Brown in 40g butter, add 60g brown sugar and pinch of salt, cook until caramelized. Cool. Combine with 250ml vodka, 250ml brandy, and 1 tsp vanilla in a jar. Steep 5-7 days, shaking daily. Strain through coffee filter. Optionally add simple syrup to taste. Rest 1 week before using.
Try 10-20ml in an Old Fashioned, or with amaro and vermouth.
